Had back surgery surely about 5 years ago; had good result for about 8-10 weeks then developed pain in both legs; was then put on to strong medication that help to some degree; was seen by Dr. Ricardo about 2 years ago he took an interest in my condition and about 6 months ago we talked about treatment that was only new to myself; had a course of injections to lower back and thighs; my condition has improved greatly and would have no hesitation in following up the treatment with Dr. Ricardo.

In 1980 I was involved in a M.V accident with a milk truck carrying 40,000 litters of milk; at the time of the accident I was an officer with the NSW Fire Bridge truck responding to a fire call under lights and siren.

this is to confirm that I, Graeme A. shaw whilst a patient of the above Dr. Al Khouri, was in receipt of the above mentioned Prolotherapy to try to stem the advances of osteo-arthritis in my joints and feet; in my case the treatment wa not successful and that was more because of the advancement of the arthritis than the treatment itself.
The Prolotherapy was prescribed when all other alternative, other than surgery, had proven to be unsuccessful; prior to the Prolotherapy, I had taken all forms of medication; I had undergone thee course of steroid treatment; all with no effect that's when Dr. Al Khouri suggested Prolotherapy; he made no guarantees; he simply said it was another alternative before surgery; and that we should give it a try which I agreed too; the delivery of the treatment took place over three months with the first two rounds of injection two weeks apart and the final two rounds one month a apart; although there was some degree of relief immediately after application the pain and ongoing symptoms returned in a short space of time.
Dr. Al Khouri was at all times professional in his treatment delivery and even took the time to ring me at home to see it there had been any benefit after each treatment; i have spoken to other patients of Dr. Al Khouri's who suffer from other forms of illness and have undergone this treatment and they speak in glowing terms of the relief they now share due to this new form of treatment.
although the treatment was not beneficial in my case I am positive that its delivery is offering another alternative and some relief to sufferers of great pain

This is to conform that I, Margy Shaw was advised by Dr. Ricardo Al Khouri that Prolotherapy would be probably help with my pain management in relation to shoulder pain, tennis elbow and golfers' elbow ailments that I have been suffering with some time.
The Prolotherapy was prescribed when all alternatives other than surgery had proven to be unsuccessful; prior to Prolotherapy I ahve taken all foms of medication; I had undergone two courses of steroid treatment all with no effect that when Dr. al Khouri suggested Prolotherapy Dr. Ricardo told me that he would not promise that it would be the all and end all but that he thought it may help; I found the injections to be very painful and eventually after six or seven treatment of up to twelve to twenty injections in each session my body rebelled and reacted to the treatment which meant the immediate stopping of it.
Although the treatment sis not work for me, I am sure its benefits will be suitable for others.

After CT and MRI scans I was diagnosed with a bulging disc at C7 at the bottom of my neck; this created severe neck and shoulder pain even after intense physiotherapy; I also had numbness of my left thumb and the 2nd fingers tips.
A specialist suggested Cortisone injections and if that did not work a bone graft from my hip and porcelain to fuse the affected disc.
After discussion options with my GP he recommended I look at Prolotherapy which I did and have the go ahead.
Four months later I have had an 80% improvement and virtually no numbness in my fingers; if I overdo something physical I still sometimes need Prolotherapy but it is far better that the alternatives mentioned.

In 2004 i had a truck smash and received spinal damage and had to have my spine fused on 3 levels; after that I still lived in lots of pain and virtually lived on different medications and very strong pain killers.
At the start of the this year it was suggested that I try a new treatment called Prolotherapy in which I took the advice and had 5 treatments on my spine,; now I don't need any medication at all and can live a fairly normal life; as in riding horses, using chain saw, carting wood and more of these things could not so before I underwent the treatment; I would recommend the treatment to anyone with back injury.

Three months ago I though I would have to have knee reconstruction surgery due to pain in my left knee; I had pain when walking down my sloping backyard and when going up or down steps; sometimes I thought the knee might collapse completely.
After three treatment of Prolotherapy I am walking very freely and have no trouble with steps or walking down slopes; I do have slight pain after I have been sitting for some time this soon goes after I warm up; I also get some pain it\f I twist my knee this minor compare to what I used to get.
I am very happy with the treatment I have had to date even if my knee gets shows no more improvement.

Doctor Ricardo started my injections about may 2010 to treat my neck and shoulder pains; I also had injections to both my hands; although the treatments were rather daunting, the relief given by the injections far outweights the short time of any discomfort.

Before this treatment my back was so had that I could not walk on uneven ground and I had trouble using a brush cutter and a ride on mower because of the jarring and twisting involved in there activities.

My name is Michael, I had a truck accident in 2006 causing some serious injuries, one of these injuries was my left knee, over the period of the enxt two years because of my deteriorating abilities I had to retire from my job (which I loved doing).
My knee got to a point where I would not be able t walk at all for 3-4 days and the days that I could I was in quite a lot of pain, complete knee replacement was recommended by a sergeon from Canberra; after some time I saw Dr. Ricardo Al Khouri as I was recommended to try the Prolotherapy.

My name is Carolyn and in 1990 I had a car accident in Sydney; I have fought pain of varying degrees for 20 years; during this time I have been given various medications and injections; I have had cortisone in the neck; I also had nerves cut in my back to stop the pain; it is amazing the lengths that one will go to, to rid oneself of pain; long term pain is debilitating; it makes you fell as though there is nothing in the world that you have to look forward to; it depresses you so that you think even about suicide; nothing really seemed to help me at all; I got so bad this year I could not even walk up the driveway of my place.
I went to my local doctor, Dr. Ricardo Al Khouri, who suggested Prolotherapy; I was hesitant at first; believe me (especially after some of the thing that I had been through previously- you know what I mean- so many doctors with so many miracle cures); I decided to go ahead- what harm could there be in trying? after a course of vitamine supplements the day arrived - about 25 needles in one sitting- boy was I sore for a while; the doctor also gave me some pain medication for when I came down off the original needles - but I did not need it; He rang me the after the needles to ask how I was and was not in any pain whatsoever and since those needles earlier this year; I have had no pain in that area whatsoever.
